##UDel #UDMFA #Newark #Art #ArtistsPlease join us for an insightful talk featuring Vimalin Rujivacharakul, associate professor of art history and leader of the Old College project, Catherine Matson, conservation scientist at Winterthur Museum and an affiliated assistant professor at UD, Blažo Kovačević and the MFA students from the Department of Art and Design who created works for the Colors, Land, and Building: Old College and Delaware exhibition. The discussion will focus on their creative processes, the themes behind their work, and how they reflected the history, identity, and transformation of Old College and Delaware.
The exhibition features pieces by eight talented students: Emmanuel Aboagye, Timothy Carr, Zoe Elwood, Anna Freeman, Candy F. Frimpong, Yoosef Mohamadi, Mikhail Shulga, and Moones Zeydabadi.
This talk is a perfect opportunity to gain deeper insight into the creative journey behind the exhibition and hear firsthand about the intersection of art, place, and identity.

The Colors, Land, and Building: Old College and Delaware exhibition is part of the larger Old College project, celebrating the cultural and artistic significance of Old College. The exhibition will open on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, with a reception from 4:30 – 7:30 PM in the Recitation Hall Gallery, followed by the main exhibition, Colors of Old College, at 5:00 PM in Old College.
