Lunchtime Learning: Making your own decisions—with support

This is a past event

Come learn about supported decision-making, a practice that enables people with disabilities to make their own decisions about health care, finances and other life choices – with the advice of trusted supporters.

  • Understand how supported decision-making works, and how it differs from guardianship.
  • Hear from a family whose decisions about life planning changed after Delaware became the second state to allow supported decision-making.
