Dr. Persephone Braham, professor in the Department of Languages, Literatures & Cultures, will speak on the topic of "Mexico 1968: The Other Olympic Massacre" as part of the ARSC300 Issues in Global Studies lecture series.
The theme of the Spring 2025 lecture series is Evolution of the Olympic Games. A diverse group of speakers from UD and other universities will discuss the history of the Olympic Games and how they have changed over time.
All are welcome to attend the ARSC300 Issues in Global Studies lectures; course registration is not required. The lecture series is organized every semester by the Center for Global & Area Studies (CGAS). ARSC300 is a 1-credit course that is open to all students and is a core course for the Global Studies major and minor.
