The Midterm Matters speaker series looks at how campaign strategy, news coverage, polling, and election cybersecurity affect midterm elections and why civic engagement is important. This program is supported by the University of Delaware Office of the Provost.

October 10―Gabe Fleisher, Young Voices Matter, 7:30 pm

Gabe Fleisher’s love for politics and history began at an early age when he attended the 2009 presidential inauguration. The 16-year-old is now a voice of his generation as the publisher of the political newsletter Wake Up to Politics, which has more than 50,000 subscribers. Fleisher has been featured in the New York Times, NPR, and on TBS’ Full Frontal with Samantha Bee.
