This event is meant to incorporate elements of lecture and discussion between the speaker, eboard, and audience. We can all relate to the struggles of being black in predominantly white spaces so this event will highlight that struggle in specific areas like lack of representation in educational/career spaces, pressures to succeed internally/externally, and finding your voice in these spaces.
