CIT Camp runs in conjunction with Newark Day Camp. Teens 13 and older are encouraged to tackle a hands-on leadership experience. This counselor training program is designed to equip teens with leadership skills that will prepare them to serve as camp counselors in the future. This camp is for teens who are age 13 by May 30. Training will involve camp counselor protocol, risk management, team building, camper safety, and problem solving. Completion of this program is strongly encouraged for those teens who wish to become a 4-H camp counselor for

the 2022 summer camps. Campers will provide their own lunch.

This camp will be limited to 15 campers.
