The Center for Teaching & Assessment of Learning will hold its final Spring Conversation on Professional and Educational Development (COPED) on Tuesday, April 16th from 5 to 6 pm in the Faculty Commons (116 Pearson Hall). April's topic is Negotiating Classroom Issues of Authority; registration is open at http://www.udel.edu/005516. This session will focus on helping TAs find their voice in the classroom through practicing confidence building and empowerment strategies. The COPED series is exclusively for graduate students as part of their continuing education while transitioning into professional educator roles.

We warmly invite our future faculty to discuss pressing classroom and professionalization issues in a room of their peers. Guided by a peer teaching mentor, these sessions will offer participants a chance to deeply and meaningfully engage in conversation as well as receive resources to further support their teaching. Participation is 100% optional, and graduate students may come to any or all sessions. Coffee, drinks, and desserts will be served.

Please feel free to email nll@udel.edu directly with questions regarding the upcoming COPED series.
