UD Faculty Affairs is offering new faculty orientation (NFO), in partnership with units across campus such as the Center for Teaching and the Assessment of Learning, Academic Technology Services, Human Resources, and the Library.

NFO aims to provide new faculty with an understanding of the UD academic environment, connecting them to resources and support services, and preparing them for teaching and interacting with students. 

This event is supported by a comprehensive course site on Canvas, UD’s Learning Management System. When faculty are hired, they will be provided access to the New Faculty Orientation Canvas site for their first year at UD.  Additional workshops for New Faculty are available throughout the academic year through programming at the university, college, and unit level.

NFO will occur on August 18, from 8 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., with a reception at the President's house immediately following.
