DESCRIPTION:*Update: New Faculty Orientation's winter session is canceled.*
 \n\n \n\nNew Faculty Orientation (NFO) is offered by UD's Faculty Affairs 
 in partnership with units across campus such as the Center for Teaching an
 d the Assessment of Learning\, Academic Technology Services\, Human Resour
 ces\, and the Library\, among others.\n\n \n\nNFO is aimed at providing ne
 w faculty with an understanding of the UD academic environment\, connectin
 g them to resources and support services\, and preparing them for teaching
  and interacting with students. Winter NFO is offered in mid-January in a 
 half-day session.\n\n \n\nIt is supported by a comprehensive course site o
 n Canvas\, UD’s Learning Management System. When faculty are hired\, the
 y will be provided access to the New Faculty Orientation Canvas site for t
 heir first year at UD.  Additional workshops for new faculty are available
  throughout the academic year through programming at the university\, coll
 ege\, and unit level.
