The free four-week Propelus I-Corps program will support research teams with technology innovations or research discoveries that have potential to benefit society.

The NSF I-Corps Northeast Hub offers training programs that enable STEM researchers to explore the potential for their discoveries to become products or services that can benefit society. The NE Hub's flagship Propelus program is a 4-session (virtual) program that provides training on customer discovery and value proposition, connects research teams with like-minded innovators in the region, and allows teams to engage with experienced mentors. Teams who participate in the Regional Propelus program are eligible for up to $3,000 in grant funding to fuel their customer discovery research (e.g., travel to conferences, joining professional associations, LinkedIn Premium memberships, etc.).

We are accepting applications for our Oct/Nov-2023 Propelus Cohort on a rolling basis until the application deadline.

  • Application Deadline: September 20, 2023
  • Session Dates: October 17, 20, 27 and November 10 (12:30 - 3:30 pm ET online)

Click here to apply today!

Successful completion of the Regional program requires completion of 15 (minimum) customer discovery interviews and opens the door to follow-on opportunities, such as the NSF National I-Corps program, which provides an intensive 7-week training course and a $50,000 grant.

Questions about the NE I-Corps Hub can be directed to the UD Faculty Lead Dan Freeman and Program Manager Caitlin Baiduc.
