Complete Keys to Financial Success Training for DE HS Personal Finance Teachers

This is a past event

Join us for this one-month, online professional development program which prepares Delaware high school teachers in “Keys to Financial Success” personal finance curriculum instruction..

Whether teaching the course for the first time this year or in search of a robust refresher, participants will work at their own pace via a Canvas-designed course, using interactive and video modules that acquaint them with Keys core content and effective teaching methods. All participants will also attend four, one-hour synchronous weekly sessions, run by CEEE content specialists and held on:

Participants will receive 30 hours of professional development credit and all curriculum resources.

In Keys to Financial Success, students are provided with the knowledge, skills, and processes required to make sound financial decisions and manage their own personal finances. The lessons engage students in critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making.

The content covered in this program can help teachers and students meet state and national standards in personal finance, economics, social studies, family and consumer sciences, and business education, as well as the Common Core State Standards.
