A University of Delaware town hall will be held from 1:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 2 to hold an interactive discussion about strategies to support faculty and students who teach and learn online. 

Scheduled in Mitchell Hall auditorium, the discussion will be hosted by Sharon P. Pitt, Vice President and CIO, Information Technologies. The session will be an interactive facilitated discussion covering practices, support structures and technologies needed to create and deliver high quality online and hybrid courses and provide students with experience that mirror in quality and breadth that of on campus learners.  Your input will inform the new University IT strategic plan and shape future investment strategies in staffing, services and technologies. Discussion topics will be set with the attendees and may include expanding access to instructional design and academic technology support, keeping pace with the changing ecosystem of online learning software, and capturing data about the online learner.
