 \, Pennsylvania State University\n\nThe Payload for Ultrahigh Energy Obser
 vations (PUEO) is a long-duration\nballoon experiment designed to detect u
 ltra-high-energy (UHE) neutrinos\nwith energies above 1 EeV. The instrumen
 t consists of a Main Instrument\n(MI) mounted on the payload and a Low-Fre
 quency (LF) instrument deployed\nbeneath the payload. The LF instrument co
 mprises eight sinuous\nantennas operating in the 50–500 MHz band\, compl
 ementing the 96\ndual-polarized horn antennas of the MI\, which cover the 
 300–1200 MHz\nrange. The LF system is optimized to detect radio emission
 s from air\nshowers induced by cosmic rays and Earth-skimming tau neutrino
 s. By\nextending sensitivity to lower frequencies\, the LF instrument enha
 nces\nPUEO’s capability to characterize signals and improve event\nrecon
 struction.  In this talk I will review PUEO’s science goals and\ninstrum
 ent performance during its successful flight from December\n19\, 2025 to J
 anuary 11\, 2026\, with particular emphasis on the design\,\nimplementatio
 n\, and performance of the LF system.
