Proud to Plan

Erin Wren Proud graduated in 2000 from UD's Hospitality Business Management program and spent 8 years as a meeting planner for DuPont Pharmaceutical and AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals.  Erin earned her CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) designation and began her own company, Proud to Plan in 2007. Proud to Plan has won “#1 Wedding Planner” in Philadelphia’s HOTLIST contest, “Critics Choice for Best Wedding Planner (upstate)” for Best of Delaware, and has been chosen as a Wedding Wire’s “Couple’s Choice Winner” every year since 2008.  Erin is an adjunct faculty member of UD HBM, teaching HOSP 315 – Special Event and Wedding Planning and is developing a new Event Management Practicum for the program.
