Jennifer Boes, Executive Director, The Greater Wilmington Convention and Visitors Bureau

Jennifer is the head of the destination marketing organization for northern Delaware. Her team promotes the region as a premier destination for leisure and business travelers, meetings and conventions and group tours. Their efforts help support and grow the more than $2.5 billion in tourism spending generated in New Castle County annually.

She has 25 years of experience in tourism and hospitality marketing, tourism research, marketing measurement, branding, and crisis communications.

Jennifer was the Bureau’s director of marketing communications and media relations before being appointed to her current position in 2021. Prior to joining the Bureau, she worked at Maine-based Marshall Communications where she led the implementation of marketing strategies for regional and national tourism clients. Jennifer also served as the tourism public relations director of the Delaware Tourism Office. She began her career at Bard Associates of Philadelphia, a PR firm specializing in restaurant and retail clients.

Jennifer is a native Delawarean and a graduate of the University of Delaware.
