Planning Your Vegetable Garden Workshop via Zoom

Debbie Nicol, Kent County Master Gardener

Have you dreamed of growing your own fresh vegetables and herbs at home, but don’t know how to get started? Help is here! We’ll walk you through the steps, from choosing a location, laying out the size and shape of your space, preparing the soil, and choosing and starting plants for your growing zone. We’ll cover the basics of fertilizing with compost, insect control, companion planting, and crop rotation so you can plan the garden that meets the needs of your family and lifestyle.

This workshop will be offered online via Zoom. Zoom login information will be provided to registered participants by email prior to the workshop.  http://www.udel.edu/007933
