The Poetics of Snow is an exhibition of paintings by Natalija Mijatović, professor and chair of the Department of Art and Design, in conjunction with National Arts and Humanities Month. The Poetics of Snow is a lyrical and metaphorical concept that symbolizes the unique and transient beauty of snowfall and the silent agreement between nature and the world it blankets in white. Each snowflake, a unique crystalline masterpiece, descends from the heavens to blanket the earth in a hushed and ethereal stillness. As it gathers, it creates a pristine canvas upon which the world is invited to be reborn.
