Professional Development Series for Diverse Graduate Students: Learning to Interview Successfully
Are you a graduate student from a historically marginalized background? Then this virtual PD series is for you!
Although most graduate students have heard about the importance of networking and interviewing well for proactively managing their careers, many do not have a clear plan for doing so. As a woman or a person of color, you may face unique challenges as you search for opportunities and navigate the professional world. Recognizing that different challenges exist for graduate students from underrepresented or minoritized backgrounds, Graduate Diversity Programming and the Career Center are offering a new three-part professional development series - The Spring 2021 Graduate Diversity Professional Development Series. These events will focus on networking, interviewing and navigating the job market during an economic downturn.
This event will be led by Assistant Dean for Graduate Professional Development, Dr. Suprawee Tepsuporn and Senior Associate Director of Career Development & Campus Engagement Team, Dr. Rachel Coppola.
