This American Red Cross course provides and certifies attendees with necessary information and skills for certification in Adult & Pediatric First Aid, CPR, and AED procedures. Using a blended learning format, participants complete an online training prior to attending the 2.5 hour in-class session. Registration for Spring 2026 opens on Monday, February 2.

Course Policies:

• Online content will be sent to participants after registration closes, and it must be completed prior to the in-person class. Participants who do not complete the online content will not be able to partake in the in-person class, and will not receive a refund.


• This course is available for students, faculty, and staff of the University of Delaware. UD Wellness Dollars are not accepted for this course. Certification courses are not open to the public.


• Registration closes five days before the course date.
• 2/23/26 - Registration closes on 2/16
• 4/20/26 - Registration closes on 4/13


• To receive the certification, participants must remain present for the duration of the in-class session and demonstrate proficiency in the skills. Certification is valid for 2 years.
