Research Funding Online
Faculty and researchers know that acquiring funding is hard work.
During this workshop, get strategies for how to identify and approach the appropriate funders to maximize your efforts. You will cover techniques for searching databases and locating additional grant information on the internet.
The workshop will focus on three databases: The Foundation Center Directory Online, Foundation Grants to Individuals Online, and COS Pivot that provide information on identifying potential funding resources. Features of these databases include alerting services as well as the ability to save searches.
The workshop is co-sponsored by the UD Research Office. It will be led by Tom Melvin, librarian, and Alison Wessel, social sciences librarian.
This workshop is open to UD students, faculty and staff. Those conducting research in need of funding are particularly encouraged to attend. Registration is required as seating is limited. Please register at:
