The University of Delaware provides for assistance to full-time faculty for individual research and through "General University Research (GUR) Grants." The main purpose of the GUR program is to assist faculty with research, scholarly or creative projects, with preference given to early career faculty members. These merit-based grants are administered by the Vice President for Research Scholarship and Innovation, who is advised by the Research Committee of the Faculty Senate.
