Talk Title: Programmable Networks

Abstract:   The talk will detail the fundamentals of programmable networks and  highlight the differences between programmable and classical networks. The talk will also cover some of the important  programmable network research  projects at ARL such as  development of new programmable network abstractions and OpenFlow protocol extensions  to build multi-node quantum networks, HPC network fabrics, intelligent control plane agents for  wired and wireless networks and to develop custom network labels to build SDN federations.
