The SNF Ithaca National Student Dialogue provides young leaders with the opportunity to learn about how to identify, understand, and address today's challenges by using the public policy process as an approach to common problems. Students from across the United States will engage with peers to address real issues affecting their campuses. Last year, many institutions faced tensions related to the Israel-Hamas War, and in July, former President Trump survived an assassination attempt. We approach an election that seems likely to exacerbate current divisions, with questions about what will happen after November regardless of the outcome. This dialogue is more important than ever. It’s up to us to build and foster inclusive democracy for all. Participants will leave the SNF Ithaca National Student Dialogue equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to better understand and address challenges on our campuses and in our democracy, more broadly.
