The Social Impact & Community Service Career Meetup is canceled Due to UD’s COVID-19 Guidelines. Students have the opportunity to share their resume with employers using the instructions below. 

Each semester, we look forward to connecting our students, alumni, and employers through Career Fairs and Meetups. However, given the growing concerns around COVID-19, the University of Delaware has released guidelines for large events, and until further notice, large non-essential UD gatherings that include outside visitors will be postponed, canceled or offered virtually.

With these guidelines, we have made the decision to cancel the in-person Social Impact & Community Service Career Meetup, scheduled to take place on April 23, 2020. You may still share your resume with organizations planning to attend by logging into your Handshake account and following this link: https://udel.joinhandshake.com/employers/533768. Each company has a job posting associated to their name, if you wish to share your resume to a specific employer you can do so by applying to their “job”. Your resume will then be sent to the employer contact who may reach out to provide you with additional information regarding their organization, hiring needs and requirements for full-time and summer employment. We are also looking into virtual opportunities to connect you with the employers who were planning to attend, and will follow-up with additional information soon. Recruiters and alumni will share information about their internship, entry-level, and fellowship opportunities. This is also a great opportunity to network and gain valuable insight into the industry.

Bring multiple copies of your resume and research the companies in attendance!

Get ready to impress those employers and alumni! Business casual attire is suggested, but not required.

By taking part in this event, you grant the event organizers full rights to use the images resulting from the photography/video filming, and any reproductions or adaptations of the images for fundraising, publicity or other purposes to help achieve the group’s aims. This might include (but is not limited to), the right to use them in their printed and online publicity, social media, press releases and funding applications.
