Student Engagement at UD – NSSE 2017 Results & Reports
In the spring of 2017, over 1,700 UD undergraduate students responded to the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE). This representative group of first-year and senior students provided a wealth of information about their experiences at UD including their level of academic challenge, how they learn with peers, their interactions with faculty, and their experiences in the UD campus environment. Reports and summaries of responses, including many reports focused on specific groups of students, are available on UD’s Institutional Research website.
Colleagues from Institutional Research, Student Life, and the Center for Teaching & Assessment of Learning will lead a discussion about student engagement at UD. They will highlight some of the most useful and interesting information from the NSSE results and present strategies about how UD faculty, staff, and students can use the information to understand UD students and improve their experience at UD. All are welcome to attend and join the discussion!
