Younger Member Weekend (YMW) is a tradition that began many years ago. It is open to younger members of 4-H between the ages of 8 and 12. It is an overnight camping experience that is held at the Cape Henlopen State Park camping facility. This weekend begins on a Saturday. Younger Member Weekend introduces 4-H’ers to many of the traditions, songs and camaraderie that continues in State Camp and other state events. 4-H’ers who attend YMW learn leadership and responsibility skills from the fine example of the Junior Leaders who plan the theme and activities for their younger charges. Younger Member Weekend fills up fast! The cost is $50.00 which includes dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday! Registration will open in March.
