Members of the Delaware educational and banking communities are invited to participate in this 23rd annual week of elementary school saving instruction, scheduled to take place in 3rd and 4th grade classrooms throughout the state, Mon., April 19th thru Fri., April 23rd. 

 

TCTSD is part of a national financial literacy effort that works to encourage young students to develop the habits that will help ensure their future economic independence.

 

Third and fourth grade TEACHERS CAN REGISTER NOW through March 11th, creating a teacher account at:  https://www.teachchildrentosaveday.org/  Note that new as well as returning teachers must create a new 2021 account. If you don't see your school listed on the registration website, contact us to have it added.

 

BANK VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION WILL OPEN MARCH 15th at this same url, after teachers have had time to register their classes.  Bankers will be able to choose from among hundreds of classrooms spread across various districts and schools. During VIRTUAL classroom visits, bank volunteers will read a book and share a short 45-minute lesson.  The CEEE provides all materials.
