As we head into the holiday season and the end of the semester, which is arguably the most challenging part of the semester, this event will give students inspiration and encouragement as we near the end of semester, and provide a change of pace, a moment of reflection, and encouragement through music. Good Music, and more specifically gospel music, has a healing, restorative, inspirational, and encouraging effect on people, and we want to bring it to UD's campus.

“This is Gospel” is more than just a concert; it’s an immersive cultural experience that celebrates the profound influence of Gospel music. This event will not only provide entertainment but will also educate and inspire the UD community about the rich traditions and history of Gospel music. Additionally, this concert is a platform for budding artists from the Afro-Music Collective and UD Gospel Choir to showcase their talent.
