 case celebrating innovation in filmmaking\, inspired by the pioneering vis
 ion of Thomas Edison. TEFF is an Academy Award® Qualifying Festival for a
 nimation and experimental shorts\, and a Canadian Screen Award Qualifying 
 Festival. It is a socially conscious traveling festival\, presenting progr
 ams to colleges\, museums\, cinemas\, libraries\, and arts venues across t
 he US. TEFF is proud to connect diverse audiences to the compelling works 
 of independent filmmakers worldwide.\n\n \n\nPresented by Jane Steuerwald\
 , Executive Director\, TEFF\n\n \n\nJane Steuerwald is the executive direc
 tor of the Thomas Edison Media Arts Consortium-Thomas Edison Film Festival
 . She curates and presents film programs for colleges\, universities\, mus
 eums\, cinemas\, and arts venues across the country and abroad. Her films 
 have screened at MoMA\; the National Gallery of Art in Washington\, DC\; A
 nthology Film Archives\; and festivals across the US. Steuerwald was a pro
 fessor and chair of the Media Arts Department\, NJ City University\, for m
 any years\, where she taught media production\, history\, and aesthetics.
