Student Ratings of Instruction (SRIs) are often used to evaluate instructors, but there are significant controversies about their validity and bias. This session will explore the academic literature on the subject and give participants an opportunity to discuss the findings and the implications for the evaluation of teaching. Lunch will be provided. There is no charge for this event, but registration is required. In order to allow for active participation, attendance will be capped at 45 students.
Registration coming soon.
This program is for graduate students only.
