COPED Time Management

This is a past event

The Center for Teaching & Assessment of Learning will hold its first Conversation on Professional and Educational Development (COPED) of the Spring semester on Wednesday, February 27th from 5 to 6 pm in the Gore 208. February’s topic is Time Management; registration is open at . Graduate students face an astounding amount of stress; this session will be used to equip Grads with short term (immediate) and long term (lifestyle changes) strategies to reduce their time management related stress. The COPED series is exclusively for graduate students as part of their continuing education while transitioning into professional educator roles.

We warmly invite our future faculty to discuss pressing classroom and professionalization issues in a room of their peers. Guided by a peer teaching mentor, these sessions will offer participants a chance to deeply and meaningfully engage in conversation as well as receive resources to further support their teaching. Participation is 100% optional, and graduate students may come to any or all sessions. Coffee, drinks, and desserts will be served.

Future topics will include March's "Elements of a Teaching Dossier for Graduate Students" and April’s “Negotiating Classroom Issues of Authority”. Please feel free to email directly with questions regarding the upcoming COPED series.
