Lead editor, Diana Gomez, will present the book followed by remarks by distinguished human rights activist and Political Science professor Jo-Marie Burt. Diana Gomez is an anthropologist and professor at the Center for Interdisciplinary Development Studies at the Universidad de Los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia.

This book is the result of investigations carried out collaboratively between universities and centers in Colombia, Peru, and the United States and a Colombian feminist organization. This publication transcends the hegemonic, liberal, and conservative visions of transitional justice and peace by centering the concerns of feminist academics and activists

and the LGBTI movement.

Co-sponsors include the College of Arts & Sciences, Language Literature and Cultures, Anthropology, Sociology, and Women and Gender Studies.
