UD Botanic Gardens Presents Trabant Center Houseplant Demonstrations and Sale
Looking for a bit of spring for your dorm room or apartment? Longing to be a plant parent but not sure which plant to choose? Find the perfect houseplant to satisfy the senses and brighten your windowsill on Monday, March 9 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM in the UD Trabant Center Food Court. UDBG staff and volunteers will be on hand to answer questions and present 5-minute demos on repotting (11:30 & 12:50), indestructible plants (11:50), how to take cuttings or divide common houseplants (12:10), and identifying houseplant pests (12:30). The event is free and open to the public. Select plants will be available for sale, with additional plants available at the UDBG Benefit Plant Sale, April 24, 25 & 30, and May 1 & 2 in the Botanic Gardens prouction area behind Townsend Hall.
