The Graduate College invites nominations for the Unidel Distinguished Graduate Scholars Award, designated for students newly admitted to doctoral programs for Fall 2024 entry.

This is the premier award offered to doctoral students by the University of Delaware. It is used to 1) recruit exceptional doctoral students from diverse backgrounds and training to UD, and 2) provide matriculated students with intellectual and professional experiences that foster the development of disciplinary and community leaders. These awards are highly competitive and are selected by a faculty review committee.

Early nomination deadline for new awards:  January 23, 2024 at Noon

    Decisions to be announced by February 19, 2024
    Up to half of available offers to be made based on these nominations

    Decisions to be announced by March 22, 2024
    Nominees not selected in early nomination period will again be

    considered
