About this Event
Are you ready to affect change? Do you need a platform? Join our virtual student workshop featuring community and artist bridge-builder, artistic scholar and movement performance artist, Lela Aisha Jones.
Whatever your major, whether you are an undergraduate or graduate student, wherever you are in learning and living anti-racism, cultural diversity and social justice, this workshop will propel you into using the arts to make positive change.
Participants should bring a journal and/or an audio recorder to archive in the moment reflections. Additionally, everyone should choose and bring an item or element from another discipline (not movement) that elicits strong feelings, memories, or reflections around race and identity. (Some suggested items are photographs, sculptures, poems, artifacts, and/or heirlooms.)
