David Dempewolf is a Philadelphia-based video artist, animator and gallerist. Dempewolf was a primary member of the collaborative exhibition space Basekamp and is the co-founder and co-director of Marginal Utility. Dempewolf has collaborated with Jazz musicians such as pianist/composer Jason Moran, saxophonist/composer Miguel Zenon, and saxophonist Immanuel Wilkins. Dempewolf’s projects have shown in venues such as Greene Naftali (NYC), the CAC (Cincinnati), Locks Gallery (Philadelphia), Tiger Strikes Asteroid (Philadelphia), as well as the Oberhausen and London film festivals.
