From Hoodie to Boardroom - What Makes Security Thrilling
Cybersecurity is broad and human. It spans defense, testing controls, software security, cloud, and policy. This talk starts with a brief case story: what failed, what fixed it, and one simple lesson. The speaker will explain what entry roles do each day and which skills matter most. We show how teams think during calm and during incidents. We cover culture questions, like dress codes (hoodie or no hoodie), meeting style, and how to speak to other teams and leaders. The speaker will give a straight talk on roles, pay ranges, hours, and growth. You will hear my path into the field, the turns the speaker took, and the example that helped him move forward.
Please come out for a great discussion and lunch!
