Inside Bloom Energy’s Power Technology

Bloom Energy is changing the world of power generation using solid oxide fuel cells to supply clean, reliable. highly efficient, on-site power at Gigawatt scale to our customers.  As a public company with 2B in revenue, we are rapidly expanding our capacity to support growth in power needs of our customers. In this presentation, we will give you an overview of our technology and the types of customers we serve.  We will specifically cover the electrical architecture of the system and share with you how we convert energy from fuel cells to power today’s largest Data Centers operated by companies like Alphabet, Oracle, Microsoft and others.

Greg Seiverd is an Electrical Engineer and UD graduate. He works in the manufacturing plant on STAR Campus, supporting all manufacturing processes for electrical products. Additionally, he oversees most of the full-scale product testing conducted here in Delaware.

Craig Metcho is the Director of Electrical Engineering at Bloom. He leads a team of electrical engineers who design and prototype many of our major products and oversee their transition into large-scale manufacturing. With more than 10 years at the company and experience in multiple roles, Craig has a well-rounded understanding of how all our products work together.
