What is a Personal Learning Network (PLN) and why do I need one?

Your colleagues are talking about Personal Learning Networks and the new teaching technique or ed tech tool they discovered online. What is a PLN and how do you establish one? Do you really need one? Do you have time to add one more thing to your already overloaded schedule? We’ll discuss the pros and cons of PLNs, and the presenter (who is not a digital native) will share how her efforts to build a PLN have added value to both her teaching and research.
