Join the Partnership for Healthy Communities (PHC), Community Connectors: Graduate Student Outreach and the Western Family YMCA to learn more about volunteer and research opportunities at the YMCA. 

PHC and the Western Family YMCA have partnered to foster faculty, student, and staff training and experience in community engagement, to support volunteer needs, hands-on experiential learning, research outreach and recruitment, and community education and research dissemination. 

Stop by the open house to learn more about this new partnership, take a personalized tour of the Western YMCA, and meet Dr. Alyssa Lanzi, Assistant Professor, Communication Sciences and Disorders at UD and Francisco Zambrano, Community Executive Director at the Western Family YMCA, to discuss volunteer and collaboration opportunities. 

Research graduate students can talk with members of Community Connectors: Graduate Student Outreach at UD, a new graduate student organization dedicated to supporting early-stage researchers in community engaged research.
